I am a preceptor - how do I get access to library resources?

Answer

First, email your clinical coordinator, who will submit a ticket to our ITS service.

The Library provides access to an assortment of skilled research support for Clinical Faculty and Preceptors, including interlibrary loan services:

  • Free & low-cost Interlibrary Loan Up to ten journal articles a month for free
    • Each additional article per month is $10
  • Requesting articles is easy using the Library's Ask-A-Librarian form

ATSU believes that clinicians' access and use of the best available evidence is a core component of the quality of care that a clinician can deliver. This Clinical Faculty Library portal aims to provide ATSU clinical faculty with as many of the resources that are available to students as possible according to the terms of their licenses. Clinical Faculty are expected to use these resources to support ATSU associated educational and training activities. A list of resources that preceptors and clinical faculty are able to access can be found here
