How do I access library resources off campus?

Answer

When trying to access library resources from off-campus, it is important to follow the proper steps to authenticate yourself as an ATSU user, ensuring you have full access to everything we have to offer.

  1. Log into the ATSU portal at my.atsu.edu
  2. Once logged into the portal page using your ATSU credentials, access the library website by click on the "ATSU Library" tile. You can favorite the tile for easy and quick access in the future!
  3. Then, our subscription vendors will automatically grant you access to ATSU library resources when you use the custom links on our ATSU A to Z Database or through any of our LibGuides.

The most common mistake is attempting to access ATSU library resources using shortcuts, such as public search engines, manually typing the web site address, personal bookmarks, or using incorrectly-formatted shared links. These actions will bypass the custom links and prompt you for payment or deny access.
